Festival Gadgets
Making three days in a tent, in torrential rain bearable is what this is all about, surviving a UK summer music festival isn’t easy, plan it like conquering Everest and you’ll be fine. Here’s some of the neat gadgets we think will help make festival life easier.
Hand Rub Hygienic Hand Rub This stuff is everywhere now, even Boots sells it, anyone who lives in London and catches the tube knows all about the sticky hand rails and more and more of us carry one of these with us at all times. They are alcohol (not the drinking type) based gels that you rub on your hands and they kill germs in a few seconds, leaving your hands dry. Great when there’s no washing facilities.
Maglite Flashlights Take a flashlight, or, if like me you’re from up north, a torch. Just make sure it’s waterproof and you have enough batteries to last the three days, well nights. If you want to look like a miner you can get one of those torches that fits on your head, however if you think there’s a good chance you will maintain use of your hands a good old fashioned torch should do. If you are of royal descent, have a rich daddy or you happen to have just robbed a bank you could buy the ridiculously priced Lupine Betty a snip at just £690.24 |
